@Krnel Kudos to anyone that took the time to read and understand. I like how you wrapped it up by showing where SteemIt falls into the roll of information competition and truth.
I think the internet in general has really democratized news. Anyone can can easily post anything they want for millions to see whether it is on a platform like Steemit or in a text file on an ftp server they run at home. Of course, this can make the truth harder to get at in other ways. There's lots of crap out there.
