Skeptic Short - Do we live on a pizza?
It's hard to present this one from a skeptical perspective. Or maybe my coffee didn't kick in yet...eh, whatever brain, I'll do what I want!
Since the middle ages there have been groups of people postulating that the earth on which we live is a flat disc. The theories on a Flat Earth vary slightly but for the most part the idea is the same.

The Flat Earth Believer believes the Earth spins on a central axis like a bicycle tire or a roulette wheel. The Arctic Circle is the central hub of the tire. On the outer edge of the wheel is the wall of ice we call Antarctica. Around the spokes of the wheel are the oceans and lands. The sun and moon rotate around the wheel at about equal heights giving us days and nights.
Is It a Conspiracy?
It certainly is! Although I haven't read a definite reason the governments of the world would perpetuate a lie that the earth is a globe - I imagine it has something to do with money and/or resources though. Images and videos from space showing a globe shaped earth are brushed off by the Flat Earth Believer as photoshopped propaganda. More recently celebrities (most I've never heard of) have been using their knowledge of science to support the Flat Earth movement.
What's your take on the shape of our planet? Is it just conspiracy for conspiracy sake?
