I like this article. I think it points out a lot of the misunderstanding we have these days, especially when it comes to politics. I don't think there are as many individuals lying out there as there are individuals who simply perceive different truths.Lack of information, differing opinions and circumstances lead to their being many different ideas and opinions accepted as truth, just as you pointed out. This is why people, especially those in the media or those who are responsible for the spread of information, need to learn to do their due diligence and investigate what they perceive to be true in order to fully discover the "real" truth.
