Stay Humble

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. Matthew23:12

The world is filled with the blessings of God, but empty and void to those that refuse to submit to the leadership of Christ in all humility. Beloved brethren, do not be caught in the natural tendency to think you are better than anyone because you have food to eat,a job,a house, a business, a wife, a husband, a relationship with God or anything in this life. God gives us all things, not through our efforts, but by His grace and mercy. At times we become proud without knowing. The pride in the heart is very dangerous, even when not physically expressed. Today, the Holy Spirit issues a warning against self exaltation. Do not allow your position in life destroy your position in Christ Jesus. Do not fix your attention on your gift but the giver. Let Jesus be exalted, not your ego,ambitions or interests. Everything in this world is temporal and vanity. Be humble.

Everyone that lift self high is brought low and those that subdue self are exalted. This Divine principle is not negotiable, no matter who is involved. In fact, let us not consider earthly exaltation as a thing to grab, but humble ourselves before God daily. Let us lay aside every desire to be known or recognized, for vain is the praises of men. We are equal before God, no matter what we possess physically. Let us humble ourselves before God and guide against self exaltation at all cost. Let us lay aside our reputation and depend on Christ Jesus alone. In due time our exaltation shall surely come, not for men to see but for God to be glorified.

Heavenly Father, the Lord of our exaltation, thank you for lifting us from the struggles in our mothers' womb and made us conscious and blessed today. Please help us to be submissive to you in all things and let every pride in our nature be destroyed forever, in Jesus name. Amen. Remain humble.
