Thank you and I would add one more very important point, from a #permaculture perspective. With annuals you can get a yield in 3 months, depending the times year, in addition many of those annuals become perennials (grow in multiple seasons if left to go to seed). Chickens and ducks are great to keep for many reasons. Food is a key item oh and let us not forget rainwater capture and storage.
