RE: What is Cultural Appropriation????

in #truth7 years ago

To me cultural appropriation is a word used to beat people over the head and shame them into staying within what the MSmockingbirdM declares it to be.

There really isn't a culture in The US. It is a mixture or many many cultures. And it differs from place to place.

What seems to be happening is the state is trying to make everyone without a god, without a culture, without a history, so that they are as easy as possible to mold into cogs for the machine.

Aho! Power to the people. Time to take the power back!

The First Nation/Native American culture is very strong despite the best efforts of this dominator culture to crush it. Resilient! Resourceful and connected to source. NO weapons formed against us shall prosper! There is a strong African-American culture that the dominator culture is trying to commandeer. Mexican-American culture is strong. ONly the European-Americans lost their culture. WE are native to this land and creating our own culture, a brave new way to be and move in this world.

To this, I would add redneck culture too.
The ones who seem to have lost everything are the liberals on both coasts.

African-American culture is one I don't know much about, however, I do know it is very different from African culture.

Mexican-American and Native-American cultures are a weird thing. They are like there, but not there.

I anticipate that borders are going to collapse. As in, around your house you have a strong fence. Around your 20 acres you have a good fence. Around your 100 acres you have signs ever so often and a falling down barbed wire fence. So too, will communities/cities/nations have a strong area and a gray area.

It will be interesting to see what happens with culture as this collapse, or re-integration happens.
