Whilst not news to many that Saudi Arabia funds and promotes extremist Wahhabism at the behest of the US (and it's master Israel), it is good to learn some of the finer details. The damage done to the once secular middle east is just horrendous. Chaos and suffering now reign where stable and cohesive nation states once existed.
The targeted push into Southeast Asia is also troubling. You now hear talk of sharia and and signs Burqas (or Niqabs) in European cities like London, things never previously experienced in places like Beirut, Damascus or Tehran.
And yet, despite all this, it is frightening that radical Islam is perhaps the least dangerous of the extremist religious threats that we face today.
