It's insane! Years ago my boss in Texas decided to get into roofing (I already knew how). We went to the clerk of court and paid $18.00 and we had a license- no questions about if we knew how or anything, just pay the fee and you're a roofer!
Haha, that's a joke... bad certification system, just fee collection system with no quality measure :/
Pretty soon it will be the same for doctors ;)
