Certifications should mean something and carry weight. Sadly it is another form of marketing and for the right price (money) they can even be bought. They lose their value and are there to impress the ignorant sheeple. i have seen this with business ie the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and the wedding industry. I assume it carries over into other markets as well. Thanks @krnel
