FBI Becomes the Praetorian Guard?

If the FBI has formed a secret society to take down President Trump in the 2016 elections wouldn't this be the same as the Praetorian Guard picking Emperor? So in other words the USA downward spiral has been set in motion and we have begun the descent? The next step is to auction off the President to the highest bidder whoever pays the most to the bureaucrats pension. In Rome around (193 AD) their is a famous account of political corruption when things got so bad the Praetorian Guard killed the Emperor and was able to put the office up to the highest bidder as the ones with the weapons gained total control.
