Yeah man it is really weird and no one really talks about it. Check out the RNC speaker list and notice how few old guard Republicans and even former Trump Administration officials are on it.

Can you think of a political convention that had so few members from the party from as little as a decade ago? No former Republican presidents. No former Republican vice presidents.

It is thoroughly bizarre and everyone just kinda ignores how strange that is.
