RE: Optimistic about Trump (I'll work out how to put pictures in the next post)

Oh, you know what America needs. Does America know it? Why aren't you optimistic about Putin? That's strange

Sort:

I like Putin and think he's a strait talker and talks a lot of sense. However he's no saint. At least Russia has not expanded its military into the the buffer zone created in Europe by the collapse of the USSR.

Post world war two talk of a 'World Government' or 'New World Order' started in the US. The idea to disarm all countries and arm the U.N. makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately the US appears to have taken on that task upon its self. The US doesn't abide by International laws it does not like, as do others, but to hold the moral high ground it should.

It appears that the US is a right wing country and it's everyone for themselves. I believe that a socialist world would be a better model. Putin, at the moment, is more cooperative and conciliatory as is Xi Jinping of China. Where as the military might the US uses to intervene in sovereign states is a shameful history, Britain was just the same, but if the US calms down and becomes a defensive rather than an offensive nation I believe the odds of WW3 will reduce and the US is capable of helping a lot towards world peace.

Trump will possibly make the US more isolationist and with luck they will use their finances internally and let the world calm down and re-balance, at least for a while. I believe that going back to commodity money, like the Gold standard, so that a country can't just print money for foreign adventures to grab resources.

"not expanded", "the military might the US uses to intervene in sovereign states"
Did the US intervene into the Crimea? The Ukraine?
