I was a "little" bit angry with the "farmer" narrative recently... however make farming great again !
It's simple... toxic food = toxic unhealthy people, less energy, soaring cost of healthcare, loss quality of life, loss of social interactions, shame for the farmers producing toxins etc.
In short not good.
And the question is how to make american farming great again.
I think like in all industries, they are bad people, those seeking to harm others while making money in the process.
I think that those bad farmers aren't prosecuted and clearly not regulated.
Now how to help those who don't know to transition to clean food... And this is the challenging part, How to make american farming great again.
In raising living standards, food quality is in my opinion a first very important step. However some don't agree and prefer to use their income for other things.
In itself I have no problem with people killing themselves softly with toxic food, but I don't agree that their toxic food can spread, be it by water runoff, crosspolination or pesticides or toxic evapo transpiration of plants (gmo corn when they start to "sweat" produce very toxic clouds.
So as you can see the point is maybe to move to even more toxic controlled envirronement food (ultra cheap) with labels to inform about the cost of the cheap and help the farming world transition to a very highly competitive and qualitative market.
In all events, for example, chineses and other east asians will certainly pay a fair price for the highest cleanest quality food on earth (no doubt about it).
but for that TRUST in the enforcement of the quality must be real.
at least in my opinion, it makes american farming, more sustainable, rational, profitable and safe for the producers and consumers while not opposing the cheap dirty toxic food that some prefer to have to buy themselves a new set of fishing gears :).
And if extended with the before the Rockies water diversion projects the quantity can be maintain while the overall quality and price of the american food supply can be optimized.
Then I think, that it's part of the minimum that can be expected from public institution to serve high quality food, be it in public schools, hospitals, general administrative offices and the dod and co.
there is no reason to serve "cheap toxic food" to public personals or those under their cares. If the USA can't do that, what can it really do?
and you know the farmers, behind the idylic ads pictures, they know what's on the toxic shit... they just have not found a way.
finally this great effort can't pass without a reformed or new cme, because those softkillers there, do everything they can for example to stop an organic corn contract to appears... and that, again mr terry, I think it is important to "power play" in a physical sense... it's normal with white guys from chicago who let the city they live in rot even more than the fields they exploit.
why not an organic speciliazed exchange in kansas? I just note that apple future are common in China... but mr terry of the cme, can't even do anything disruptive to interests of a few groups producing those toxic "food, shame on him, shame on his shareholders, shame on those who let it all happen.
remember you can't tell on who it will fall, but toxic food, is toxic.
