The NY AG is suing Trump and his children Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka for fraud.
She is also filing criminal referrals for the IRS and federal prosecutors. It accuses him of falsely inflating his assets by billions of dollars. In some instances he'd claim cash held by partnerships as his own or inflate property valuations. It alleges that Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka Trump were aware of the fraud scheme as executives of the Trump Organization.
She is seeking a five year ban on real estate transactions for the four of them. And a permanent ban on them serving as officers of any New York businesses.
I have to wonder about the banks and accountants involved in all of this. A lot of people were looking the other way and not asking questions.
It'd be wild if not only the Trump Foundation but also the Trump Organization effectively end because of legal issues.
