Trump the undercover Democrat

in #trump7 years ago

Hillary Clinton should have won easily. Maybe Hillary confused people a little. But democrats were like, OK but why is she hanging around with all these rich people? And Never Trump Republicans were like, in the end maybe, sure never Trump but never never Hillary Clinton!

Because she still "officially" aligned herself very much with the traditional Democrat policies. Maybe she was trying to appeal to Reagan Democrats which are really just a an outdated word for Wall Street Democrats... and assumed that she had the non Reagan democrats in the bag. Which she may have had.

TRUMP THE DEMOCRAT

I know of another Democrat who hung out with rich people. A man by the name of Donald Trump. The 45th president of the United States was a registered Democrat from 1999 to 2009.

He only briefly joined the Independence Party in 1999. At the time he was thinking about maybe running for president.

He changed back to being a Democrat in August of 2001. Interesting how that was right before 9/11. When he did that, he actually stated that the Republican party is where is heart is. But to me this shows that Trump is not really Republican but a Democrat. The reason I say that is for two main reasons:

TRUMP'S FIRST TRY - THE INDEPENDENCE PARTY

Firstly, the reason he didn't stay in the Independence Party was that he was thinking about politics only in terms of becoming president. If you want to become president it is is easier if have at least some kind of established base to work with. So he had to choose between Republican or Democrat and get timing right. He only chose the Republican party as a vehicle to get elected.

That route was a more logical path to becoming president. Not because he necessarily identified more with their policies. Just because it made sense "politically". :-)

Secondly, establishment Democrats are slightly more open-minded than establishment Republicans. Businessmen like open-minded people. They are more likely to keep deals alive. That is why he is now able to make deals with Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

TRUMP THE WALL STREET DEMOCRAT

So like Hillary, Trump has also always been a Wall Street Democrat - if you want to categorize him. But really, his views are not at all compatible with any establishment political party.

Because he is not a politician. Being the smart man that he is, he is using the vehicle of politics to do good things for the country. The point is, that there is really not much difference, if any, between establishment Democrats and Republicans in terms of power. Both parties are simply playing the political game. They are IYI's.

INTELLECTUALS YET IDIOTS HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE COUNTRY

INCERTO editor Nassim Taleb called this phenomenon The Intellectual Yet Idiot. Taleb's influential article was published a year ago. In summary such individuals are characterized by the following:

Education: Almost always attend “elite universities,” such as the Ivy League or Oxbridge. NOTE: Most students at these schools are not IYIs, but a decent percentage qualify.

Industries: Tend to have experience mostly in academia, the government, “think tanks,” and the mainstream media.

Skin in the Game: None. They advocate for or against policies from which they never feel the negative effects, making such advocacy meaningless.

Media: Like The New Yorker and TED talks (ugh).

And, most importantly, the IYI never deadlifts - they never really start from nothing and create something original.

CNN would in Taleb's eyes probably be an organisation that thrives on an IYI audience.

THE CLINTON NEWS NETWORK

Think about the recent scandals that have rocked CNN. In one of these, one of their anchors made a startling admission. He admitted that the whole Russia/Trump connection was made up. It seems like almost every story on CNN is anti Trump. To the point of absurdity.

Most of what we consider to be news, may in fact be nothing but propaganda anyway. It is just part of our society. We feel uncomfortable with this kind of news outlet (the Trump Tower one) because the mainstream media has, along with creating news out of thin air, also succeeded in making us think that they are unbiased.

THE REAL FAKE NEWS

There is arguably no such thing as "news" anymore. Because it doesn't make money. Propaganda does though. The tail has been wagging the dog so long in the mainstream media. There was this move called Wag The Dog that came out in 1997. The was about how the media creates news to the extent that they actually guide the actual course of events.

I think Al Pacino or Robert De Niro starred in it. No I just checked it was Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, also Kirsten Dunst. Here's the short description on IMDB: "Shortly before an election, a spin-doctor and a Hollywood producer join efforts to fabricate a war in order to cover up a presidential sex scandal."

OUR NEWS IS BEING MANIPULATED

CNN anchors grimace when the talk about Trump's latest "scandal". Unbiased people are not supposed to grimace. Maybe they want us to think that, yes CNN like all others are of course unbiased. But this is so bad, that even an unbiased onlooker cannot help but feel offended/surprised/shocked!

This news manipulation business is very scary. When can we believe what we see on TV then? Not sure if we can. Maybe we should start watching the North Korea news channel(s). Then at least we know what is probably not true.

Or...maybe North Korea is controlling CNN...looks to me like they are the only news channel that are allowed to have reporters in Pyongyang, the capital city of North Korea.

Unless maybe Dennis Rodman is working undercover for Fox. There is so much fake news going on I don't know what to believe anymore. All this just to mislead the public. Crazy. Might as well not watch news anymore?
