I always find this logic a bit weird in regards to Trump.

He's a raging narcissist and dumb enough to look directly at the sun.

He infamously tried to lunge at his secret service driver on January 6th.

When he had the coronavirus and was near death he did a photo op at the White House. It looked like he was going to pass out.

In any case the first thing he did after he got shot was try to get his shoes. He left one of them behind on the stage.
