Pro life removed from GOP platform.

I know a bunch of pro-life people are mad at Donald Trump for removing all the pro-life stuff from the GOP platform, opposing a national ban, and supporting abortifacients being available through the mail.

But murder, rape, assault, theft, etc. are all state level crimes rather than federal ones and the Constitution doesn't give the President or Congress an enumerated power on the prohibition end. Besides, if the feds take a side, they ain't gonna take the side pro-lifers want.

I think they should temper their expectations here and come back to the reality of where this country's beliefs actually are nationwide. They ain't gonna get their way in 2024, and can only harm their own cause by trying to overreach or punch above their declining weight.
