TIME Person of the Year 2016: Donald Trump.

After battling the political, and media establishment for over 12 months, defeating republican primary opponents, and overcoming the full weight of the Clinton Political Complex, Donald Trump has been selected as TIME Magazine's person of the year for 2016. 

"Why would we have imagined that our national conversation would simply go on as before, same people, same promises, same patterns? Perhaps the President-elect will stop tweeting—but only because he will have found some other means to tell the story he wants to tell directly to the audience that wants to hear it."

With Trump's iconic usage of Twitter as a mass communication method, perhaps he may look to other alternatives to reach the American people if Twitter's censorship of conservative figures continues.
