Exposing Myself on Steemit...
After giving some thought to the prompting of @delishtreats recently to post some photos of "your area" after I visited her beautiful photographic posts a lot and commented...I've decided to OPEN UP a little with a few pictures of my own.
Now...don't some of you people get too disappointed that I'm NOT exposing myself in the way you hoped for (I know how your dirty little minds work) I'm actually doing you all a favor by keeping those private shots of my old ass from public view... Besides...NO MONEY...NO HONEY...I'm no fool...
Anyway...the shot below is of me deciding if I should attempt to fly a few years ago, by hurling myself over a rail about 800 meters up a hill (They call them mountains here...but to me they are hills :>) You see...after living in the European Alps for almost two years and near Fairbanks Alaska, I think I know mountains when I see them.
The small (once thriving) city that can be seen below now is fairly decrepit and filled with miscreants of every description; unfortunately. It is a typical tale of many American cities and towns across the United States since falling into ruination due to malevolent and incompetent politicians getting elected to office...
Perhaps I'll show you a few photos of this city one day that I've moved to from NYC, but at a later date. In the meanwhile...as you look beyond the city in this shot westward, you can see the beautiful woodlands and foothills that I prefer to spend my time within.
There are numerous hiking and biking trails in those woods that go on for miles and miles. One of the trails lead right to the Adirondack Trail which is over a thousand miles long between Georgia and Maine here on the East Coast of the U.S. Take a look at the link below for more information about it.

The Above Shot is one I Snapped on a Hike Nearby a Few Years Ago
I can easily spend an entire day out there in the woods...not wanting to re-emerge back into "civilization" It feels more civilized out there in the woods with non-human animals, than it does in the City. There are times when I feel like forever staying among the wildlife, trees and waters...hidden away like a Hermit; one day, I may...???
Large animals are usually not a problem nearby. We have some huge deer around here, and black bear not far away. Once, I was taking a short-cut through a large Cemetery near my house, on foot, and stumbled across about ten deer grazing upon the grass... The HUGE Buck stood a short distance away eyeballing me, and I changed his mind about charging at me by telling him, "Don't worry buddy...I ain't gonna hurt your clan...I'm just passing through."
A couple of Doe had their eyes glued on me too, with cute, little Fawns at their side. I was happy that they didn't charge at me either...I'm a little too old to get up a tree very quickly... I didn't have a camera with me, hence, no pictures sadly.
I've never stumbled upon a bear yet; I guess because they pretty much know a smelly ole human is approaching from quite a distance away. They usually choose to avoid humans rather than mingle with us whenever possible. At least that's what the so-called experts say...but, I never heard that from a bear themselves...???) So, don't take my word for it...it might all be false information.
If you want to see bigger animals like a Moose or something, you'll have to go a bit further North from here where they have been returning from hiding out in Canada for a number of years. It seems they heard that a lot of Americans are Vegetarians now, so they feel a lot safer venturing back across the border...
Anyway...that's about all for now. I'm getting hungry, so I might have to go eat a carrot.
Opening up a bit more about who I am, and my where-a-bouts is kind of fun in a way...I feel surprisingly somewhat relaxed and at peace with it; less of an @AngryMan .
Too PROVE it...here's a straight on shot of my happy mugg, below.
Listen friends...I'm outta here for now. See ya again sometime.
Ciao

Hello @angryman, thank you for sharing this creative work! We just stopped by to say that you've been upvoted by the @creativecrypto magazine. The Creative Crypto is all about art on the blockchain and learning from creatives like you. Looking forward to crossing paths again soon. Steem on!
I haven't been very active posting or commenting but anyway it's nice to see a personel post from you. I live on the West coast and I can definitely relate to some of the stuff you're talking about.
Thanks for commenting Mike...always nice to hear from you.
Your inactivity here lately, seems to be the norm. I myself have been inconsistent with posting as well.
I hope you enjoyed your carrot and I must say that your happy face is ALMOST contagious! :)
It's nice to read a little bit more about you and I'm flattered that you mentioned me in your post.
When you talk about wild animals... when I met my at that time future in-laws in Holland they wanted to know a lot about Slovakia. So I talked a bit about the history, nature, etc. Then they asked if we have any wild animals in the forest.. I started to think and said, well.. no, we only have bears, wolves, lynxes, bison and some smaller animals.. their mouths dropped and they asked which animals were wild for me. So I named animals such as lions, tygers, elephants, etc.. they started to laugh and said that in Holland they only have wild rabbits and foxes :D
THAT is so funny...
