This fruit is very abundant during summer season and widely known in a tropical country.

Siniguelas is called Spondias Purpurea. It is sour or acidic if the fruit is still green. But it will become sweet once ripen.

Yes that is true @purepinoy! During summer school break in elementary years, we normally went to the farm and try to get some siniguelas without permission from the owner. Then, when the owner saw us and shout! So for us not to be caught, we need to run for life....hahhahahaa....what a funny childhood experience..
