Rinzler's Blog # 3: Go FUD Yourself...And Meet The Tron Labs Team!
Over the past few weeks, in my search for new developments in TRX and Tron Foundation projects, I've still occasionally stumbled upon a negative article, blog or reddit post about Justin Sun, or Tron and trx being barraged by spreaders of FUD. (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt)
One such piece I've read recently is a regurgitation of old news that’s been addressed by Tron and other sources repeatedly, but here we find different points again recycled at cryptocurrencynews.com. An article penned, “TRON (TRX): Justin Sun Is Talking The Talk but What’s The Deal?” mentions the whitepaper, the Baofeng BFC partnership, and this statement -
“What makes matters worse is that TRX is only six months old and its team has yet to showcase any legitimate use of its technology.”
I say “well researched” in jest, of course, as Tron has spent their first six months methodically putting into place a team of talented people, who have developed a timeline of events that are set to unfold this year and beyond. Those who say “Hey! It’s been 6 months! Where’s my moon money??” aren’t exactly seeing the bigger picture here. The vision below requires careful, and thoughtful planning.
Web 4.0
Tron and TRX can help achieve a decentralized internet. If you’re not familiar, might I suggest an article or two on the vast topic here, or here. As far as I can tell, they have nailed a top position in this niche, and have no competitors who have the same set of integration goals. There are other entities who are aiming to use blockchain to decentralize the web, three of them can be found here, here, and here.
These could be viewed from a competitive, or cooperative standpoint, as a logistical portion of web decentralization will be not one, but groups of pioneers in software, hardware, networking, and infrastructure.
If you play chess, you understand the value of gains in tempo. Just a small gain can mean the difference between victory or defeat, and anyone who would attempt to catch Tron Labs at this point would have to overcome odds that would make any grand master want to resign, as they are so drastically stacked against them.
The project is in early stages, as the timeline of annual goals stretches into 2027…and they’re on track to meet that schedule. (And then some along the way)
The article also states: “Many have backed the TRON (TRX) network and his cryptocurrency based off of his resume alone.” – Referring to Justin Sun. Though Justin Sun’s resume is impressive, Tron has an incredible dev team as I mentioned above who are currently working on achieving lofty goals like, “Healing the internet”, and putting some power back into the hands of the users and drivers of content, creation, and socialization.

A Comparison That Comes To Mind…
Tron’s current stage of project development they’re in reminds me of a group who was similarly placed in the banking industry not long ago.
When Ripple Labs was endeavoring to bring blockchain into the fiat currency world, the FUD was big. Mountainous. Ripple was told again and again. Impossible. What you’re trying to do is impossible.
Look at them now.
What influences me to compare the two?
• No competition. Ripple was the only currency actively seeking adoption from banks on the scale they were, since before they became ripple in 2015. Tron has some competition in blockchain web decentralization, but no one who is tying it together with web 4.0, entertainment, gaming, and social networking the way they are, in my opinion.
• A development team well placed and given all the tools they need to succeed. Ripple chose the best team possible out of the available pool, and they are all committed to seeing the success of the project, which, like Tron, has set out goals not just in the short term, but for years to come.
• Big ideas. Creating a decentralized content creation, storage, sharing and distribution protocol is an incredibly ‘big picture’ ambition. Tron is as ahead of the competition as Ripple was. (Or as much as Google’s AlphaZero is ahead of the latest and greatest chess programs!)
Tron is just beginning, and is a long term hodl with potential price increasing events planned for years to come, with a team of brilliant minds at the helm.
