What is TRON?

TRC-10
In past, TRC-10 tokens were on the ETH blockchain but later moved to TRX own blockchain. It is very easy to create and almost every popular desktop wallet these days have support for TRC-10 out of the box. It is also used in the popular Bittorrent protocol.
This was in brief intro of the TRC-10. For decentralized apps these days you'd find most of the apps making use of the TRC-20 tokens.
TRC-20
This token is used in smart contracts and contina more functionality than the TRC-10. The tokens are fully compatible with the ETH ERC-20. So for the developer who wish to use the multiple tokens for their dapps can benefit from this as well.
TRON (TRX) has a lot of potential on both crypto blockchain as well as in context of the smart contracts. Though the type of dapps that use it will decide it's future.
