A tremendous mystery surrounds Satoshi Nakamoto's identity. Over the years, many journalists have asserted that they have located the "genuine" Satoshi, but nobody has succeeded in doing so. The major scandal occurred when Newsweek 'found' Dorian Nakamoto as the true architect of Bitcoin.
Hal Finney, an early proponent of bitcoin and software developer, lived close by Dorian Nakamoto. At the time, the story was backed up by a lot of evidence. He was a computer engineer who had worked on many top-secret projects. His brother, who spoke with the journalist, implied that he could have started Bitcoin.
However, the modest engineer has admitted that he is not the infamous creator of Bitcoin.
