Enjoy Your Passion!
I think that one of the most important and fundamental keys to happiness is finding a passion that you can both engage in on a daily basis and leverage as your main time consumer, should you choose.
A lot of people are spending the majority of their time working shitty jobs that they hate.
Garyvee talks a lot about this idea.
He breaks it down like this:
If you sleep for 8 hours and work from 9-5, then you're working 8 hours a day, which is 50% of your waking moments.
That means that for 50% of your waking moments for basically the rest of your life, you could be working at a job or a series of jobs.
Would you rather make $100k a year and work a job that you don't like or make $50k a year, still be able to support your family and what-not, but have a job that you LOVE to go to everyday.
A job that incites passion and forward-thinking and amazing dreams in your.
A job that is truly meaningful for the long-term and will allow you to live your wildest dreams and passions.
To me, it doesn't even seem like a real question..
What is it to you? More money and less passion or less money and more passion?
