"Clock Tower" of Srinagar.
Hello friends.
Today i am going to post an article about famous tower of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. The tower is named as "Ganta Ghar" (clock tower). As internet sources are considered it was build in 1980. This famous tower is located in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar district. It was the this tower on which national flag has been flagged many years ago. It is atleast 40-50 meters in height.
Lets have a look to its one side.
It is build in a shape of square with huge height. It has 4 sides and on its all sides clock is attached on its top. As you can see in this image, one of its side.
Few meters away from it, on its one side , river Jehlum flows. People from i side of this river goes to another side via bridge. On this bridge some people started their shops to earn some profit. Lets have a look to this bridge.
Another bridge is on this river through which vehicles go through one side to another. Lets have a look.
