A visit to Aharbal Waterfall.
Hello Tripsteem.
This is my first post on Tripsteem. In this post i am going to show you a pictures of famous tourist place where most of the tourists visit in a year. It is located in a state of Jammu & Kashmir, India. In J&K , it is situated in the district Kulgam. The most fascinating thing at this place is its waterfall, in which water is falling from atleast 40-50 meters. Most of the visitors visit their to see it.
This is the image when flood rise in the Kashmir valley, this river was also among those which gave rise to flood.
This river associated with this waterfall is named as Vashu River. The main source of this river is a spring named as Kounsarnag which is 2 KM from this waterfall. Below is the image of this spring.
Its water is considered as the best water in valley, water is soo cold and tasty. Its colour is white when striking with stones and blue when running smoothly.
Atleast 25 peoples have lost their lives in this river at waterfall. Reason behind that was people's were going near to waterfall spot and the water was falling with fast speed. It is said that due to fast speed of water , people's lost their peace of mind and become unconscious and fell down in waterfall. This is the main reason for the lost of lives in this river.
