Hello everyone,
I'm in Seoul for this post. Today was the second day of the trip. I visited Bukchon Hanok village in the morning. I started at Hongik University Station and took the subway to Anguk Station. The bus and subway are the main forms of transportation in Seoul, and very comfortable. The subway is not as complicated as in Japan. So, it wasn't a problem for me.

This is one place that you should visit in Seoul. It is a traditional Korean village with a long history. It's located between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Royal Shrine and consists of narrow alleys with ancient houses more than 600 years old. You will experience the real atmosphere of Korean culture. There are people living in these houses, some of which contain cafes, restaurants and places to experience traditional activities.
This is a great spot for tourists to take some memorable photos of old traditional houses. I saw some tourists walking around the village in beautiful traditional Korean clothing that can be rented here. This time I traveled alone so it would have bee no fun if I did it.
At the entrance and all around the village are many shops. The prices vary depending on the time and type of clothing.
Local people still live here so please be quiet and respectful.
I recommend coming in the early morning to avoid the tourists and try the Hanbok wearing experience if you have time and relax at a cafe.

Very nice traditional Korean village! It's wonderful that this village is situated on the hill.... The architectures of the ancient houses are very magnificent. The traditional Korean clothing are very beautiful. It would be great to wear one of these clothes while walking around the village. I like this.
Thanks so much for sharing. ;)
