Beautiful Tulip Festival In Nara, Japan
Hello everyone,
Spring is a colorful season with many kinds of trees and flowers blooming. This season is the second one that I loved since I’ve been living in Japan. There are several flowers you can see in spring such as cherry blossoms or sakura, pink moss, nemophila, wisteria, tulips, and others. Just because cherry blossoms are praised as the symbol of Japan doesn't mean they're the only beautiful flowers here.
Last week I was invited to go on a trip with my friends in Nara. Actually, I've been to Nara many times but I’ve only been to places in Nara city, like Todaiji Nara Park. This time I’d like to show you the huge magnificent tulip garden that I’d never seen before. It's about 40-45 minutes to Umami‐kyuryo Park by car.
Around the middle of April to May is the best time to see tulips. If the temperature is high the tulips' life is short. For this post we were at the Umami Tulip Fair, which is an event that took place from April 6-14, 2019. The inside of the park is separated into many zones and each area had various colors and kinds of tulips.
After walking through the entrance, I was surprised by the gorgeous flowers. Aren't they beautiful? There are more than 500,000 tulips in the park. Isn't it a big park? Today was quite hot so in some zones the flowers started withering. Including me too 😆
I tried to walk around the whole park but I couldn't do it. I have some pictures of the atmosphere in the park to share, hope you enjoy them.
The park is good to relax with friends or family on the weekend, and for people who love flowers. I highly recommend it.

WOW! Very huge and wonderful garden of gorgeous tulips in various colors! They look refreshing and can create beautiful scenery. And they can melt my heart now..... ;D
