Hello everyone,

Today we planned to travel in Sapporo City only, so we decided to use the subway. You can ride the subway cheap with a 1 day subway pass which costs 830 JPY on weekdays, 520 JPY on holidays and weekends. You can buy a pass at the ticket machine, which has an English version for foreigners. If you visit more than 2 places, I think it’s a good deal.

Sapporo Beer Museum

The Sapporo Beer Museum opened in 1987 in the Meiji period. This museum introduces museum goers to the history of beer, from the process of making in the old days up to the present. There is no admission fee - you can tour the museum on your own with brochures translated into many languages.

Sapporo Beer Garden

In front of Sapporo Beer Garden there is a souvenir shop. You can buy some goods that you like for your memories.

How To Get There

From Sapporo Station, take the Toho Subway Line and get off at Higashi-kuyakusho-mae Station and walk about 15 minutes.
