Sapporo’s Nijo Market and Curb Market
Hello everyone,
This morning we decided to walk to Sapporo’s Nijo Market and Curb Market. They're not far from Sapporo Center, and it's a great place to find delicious crab, shrimp, and scallops from Hokkaido.
It was snowing this morning so the whole area covered in beautiful white snow. On the way, we passed the Sapporo TV Tower and church. It was a magnificent scene with snow, I definitely had to take photos.
Sapporo’s Nijo Market and Curb Market
Nijo market is a local market that has been open over 100 years, since the Meiji period. This market is well known amongst the locals. They come to enjoy the fresh seafood, fruit, and other foods, as well as souvenirs. Nijo market is usually open from 7 am to 6 pm. We came on the New Year holiday so many shops and restaurants were closed.
Most of the fish and crabs that you see at the market just arrived from the port that morning. Japanese people say crab is absolutely delicious in the winter so you have to try it if you have a chance.
We passed a shop where the staff was grilling oysters and scallops. The smell was so good so we decided to try some.
Yummy!
I highly recommend trying the seafood here.

That snow looks so clear and lovely something we never see in Thailand...lol...Enjoy your seafood my friend looks yummy :)
Very sure! We can't see snow in Thailand 😆 but seafood in Thailand is very good.
