Hello everyone,

I’ve just come back from Hokkaido, Japan. I have a long holiday but my trip was only 3 days. It’s very cold now in Hokkaido, every is covered in snow. I had to wear a heat tech shirt, pants, and coat.

My friend and I had a trip to Sapporo. We flew on Peach, which is a low-cost airline in Japan. It took about an hour and a half from Kansai Airport to New Chitose Airport.

After we arrived at New Chitose Airport, we took the Rapid Airport Train to the center of Sapporo about 35 minutes. The fare is 1,070 JPY each way from New Chitose Airport Station to Sapporo Station. Please avoid car No. 4, unless you have a reserved seat.

We headed to the hotel and dropped our luggage off because it wasn't check-in time yet. Let's go exploring Sapporo City.

Hokkaido University

Hokkaido University is the agricultural university of Sapporo. There is are still very old buildings there, surrounded by a lot of trees. The most magnificent scenery is of Gingko trees along the road at the entrance. The fall leaves are gone, but it’s still gorgeous scenery of tree branches with snow.

This picture is the Hokkaido University Museum, a science museum. Anyone can get knowledge for free here. Unfortunately, it was closed when we went.

On our visit, the snow had just stopped and the whole area was white. I saw kids and their family playing in the snow. My friend wanted to join them. 😆

How to Get to Hokkaido University

🔹From the north exit of Sapporo Station on the JR Line 7 minutes on foot.

It was time to check-in, so we went back to the hotel. But my trip isn't over yet. See you next post.
