Inside Osaka #26: Hoshi No Buranko Bridge

Hello my Steemit friends,

I’d like to show you the secret of autumn spot in Osaka. It’s Hoshi no Buranko, located in Hoshida Park, Katano, Osaka.

From Osaka, I took the Keihan Line from Yodoyabashi Station to Kisaichi Station and then walked about 35-40 minutes. There are signs on the way to Hoshi No Buranko, so no worries about getting lost. I saw hiking groups, couples and tourists, most of them Japanese.

Hoshi No Buranko or swing of the star bridge is a long, giant suspension bridge, rising up 50 meters above the ground. You can see stunning 360 degree views here.

There was a hiking trail to the bridge, so you can experience nature and different plants. There are observation areas on both sides of the bridge with panoramic views of mountains.

These pictures are from Hoshi No Buranko bridge that I took from the both sides, and on the bridge too.

I recommend visiting here in late November to early December, which is a great time to see autumn leaves.

You should bring a drink with you because there are no drink vending machines or shops there.

Operating Hours / Holidays

Suspension bridge: 9:15-17:00 (Dec-Feb 9:45-16:00)
Closed: Tuesdays (Always open during Apr, May, Oct, and Nov)

Admission fee: Free
