Travel with me to Las vegas
Hello Everyone,
Las Vegas is a global destination for gambling and entertainment. But what can you do when you are not gambling or eating at all the fantastic restaurants. For those of you that don't know, Las Vegas is in the Western part of the United States and can be extremely hot in the summertime and very chilly in the winter. It's also known for it's hosting of many conventions for companies around the world.
They do a great job of replicating many famous or well known global landmarks such as: Eiffel Tower from Paris, Statue of Liberty, Buildings in New York, and the themes of Hotels have the inside decorated to match the outside such as: the Venetian Hotel is like Italy and has a little river and gondola's actually in side the hotel.
We went up in the smaller Eiffel Tower and took a few photos of the "strip or main street" and the views were great.
Below is a photo of "inside" the Venetian Hotel with the canals and gondolas taking tourists for a ride. These hotels are huge.
The picture below is taken from the Eiffel Tower and you are looking at the "London Eye" replica. Each capsule goes around a circle and holds about 10-15 people and you get a view of the city.
Like I said, Las Vegas is in the Western US in the state of Nevada. How do you get there? Folks from California can drive there and it may still take them 8-10 hours depending on where they are coming from. The best way is to fly there. They have an international airport and the hotels and casinos are not more than 30 minutes away from the airport.
