Carthage. Tunisia.
The famouse city and state of fheonicians. Carthage was famouse of its wars with Acient Rome, after it was a famouse center of early christians culture, after Arab conquests Carthage fell into decay till now. Nowadays it is a museum om the territory of Repablic Tunis. Unfortumrtluy you will not find here no tourists groups, no some culture activities. And I found the way to Carthage only duaring my third visit of Tunis. I don't know why there are no propositons to visit this place in touristics places of modern Tunis.
By the leged Carthage was founded by queen Dido in 814 BC, by III centure BC Carthage had become a famouse traid and calture center of Mediterranean area, it had submited South Spain, Corsica, Sicilia, Sardinia.
Rome had destroyed Carthage after third war in 146 BC.

If to be honnestly such places make me very sad . In general Muslim countries don’t care and don’t respect much anything what is not Islam even if this is part of their history . Espatially I am shocked from the state of old churches in some areas ..
