A temple built in 765 AD and Autumn leaves

This is a trip on December 3, 2019!
It is my last autumn leaves trip of 2019
I visited a temple in the mountains.
That temple is a place with beautiful spring water and the nature is very beautiful
Now, The amount of water is small because in winter
The autumn leaves are a little withered, but still very beautiful
It is office of the temple↓

There is a temple on the stairs↓
There is a small pond on the side↓
Many autumn leaves are floating in the pond↓
Benzaiten is in the center of the photo.
She is the God of "Purity and clean"↓
Now winter, so there is little moss, but a lot of moss grows in the warm season
This place also has lots of water and beautiful moss during the warm season↓
The autumn leaves are a little withered, but very beautiful😊

And this is the main temple↓
It's names "Mangan-temple"
This temple was built in 765 AD
There is not much information about the history of the temple for some reason…
There is a record of an old famous monk "Kukai" visiting
The temple is very old but well maintained and beautiful
looks like he's alive…↓
Temples always have "Daruma"↓
This is the second time I have visited this temple.
This location was also damaged last year due to a big typhoon in Japan.
"Oku no In(Important places)" located behind the temple is closed

There is a pond near the temple↓
Lots of carp and goldfish are swimming😊↓
The pond looks a little dirty but the water quality itself is a very good place😃
And there are many soba restaurant in this place!!
This place has very good water quality so soba is very delicious!
There are many soba restaurant within a kilometer from the temple.
And that day was a weekday so few people
Yes! I love soba!! very delicious!!
The distance from my house to this place is far…I can't come to this place much…
So I immediately went to the second soba restaurant!😆
I'm happy🤣
I enjoyed the best temples and soba!!
But this day's trip still continues...
I'll post them again at a later date!!
