Our trip to paradise: MOCHIMA-VENEZUELA

Mochima National Park is located in the States of Anzoátegui and Sucre, on the northeastern coast of Venezuela. The park covers 94,935 hectares and is made up of an exclusively marine area.

There you can find one of the most beautiful seascapes you have ever seen; accompanied by the kindest people you could ever meet.

I have the fortune to have access to one of the "islands" that make up this national park: LA MORENA ...

Every year, in Carnival, Easter or holidays, I take the opportunity to go there... And this time, I will show you through my photos how beautiful this trip is.

I love my country Venezuela.

We leave from the city of Caracas (Capital of Venezuela) at approximately 9:30 am

At 11:30 am we went through a village known as "Cupira", this place is perfect to make a stop if you want to try typical snacks like: "conserva", "casabe", etc.

We continue…

Our first stop: We made it at a restaurant located in the "Boca de Uchire" area at 12:40pm. There we rested a little and enjoyed the view of a beautiful lagoon.

We travel with our pets.

Approximately at 4:30 pm we arrived at the village of "Santa Fe"; From the coast of this place (also belonging to the national park Mochima) we wait to take a boat towards the "island" LA MORENA.

At that point I could not take photographs, because we had a lot of luggage and pets to carry, and honestly after a certain hour, in the village, it is not advisable to exhibit expensive gadgets.

Finally at 5:15pm our fisherman friend "El Negro" came to look for us:
The way from the coast to the island is approximately 20 - 30 minutes during which you can enjoy the immense landscape, sometimes a herd of dolphins is allowed to see, but this time I did not have the opportunity to capture them in my photos.

THENNNN! WE ARRIVED FINALLY AT “LA MORENA” ISLAND!!... and guess what?
