There are men and there are great men; men of substance and values. Those who champion the Ekiti political Revolution are exceptional and they stood out against all odds. They damned the consequences and did not get distracted by detractors. Hmmm, promoting an agenda from an 'unpopular state' to a 'talk of the town state' is laudable! They stand tall. They are achievers. They've laid a solid foundation. And, Ekiti must be proud to have such articulate young adults. People, young and old alike now identify with the YOUTH REVOLUTION.

Before them, the YOUTHS have always been a subject of ridicule and scorn because we were represented by miscreants and unfits who have no other agenda than hustle for stipends of poverty they call "paspe" or "runs". We had no values to the politicians because the youths were considered mere 'errand boys', and tagged "Sell-Outs". Youths have been gathering before now for political agenda but it is no secret that, it has become a custom for them to sell out to established politicians for meager gains even when it will be at the detriment of the majority. However, this set of Youths made a difference and changed the narratives, brought back trust into the "YOUTH FOLD" and restored the prestige and dignity of young people; giving hope to the society at large. They are the champions of our time.
They, having been awaken, did all in their capacities to help others awake too but for the people's GULLIBILITY. The people would rather take a token now and suffer for another four years. Not minding the actions and inactions of the people in frustrating the liberation project, they pressed on and gave it their all. For the record, they were determined to get to the poll and vote for themselves even if it would be they alone. They are a generation of dissenters who do not celebrate mediocrity but satisfied their consciences. A new generation of godly leaders that the people deserve at this point in time. Ekiti is surely blessed to have them, hence the need for this set of youths to be engaged for the betterment of our dear State.
What more can be said of Tosin Emmanuel Ajibare (GOLD), the face of the YOUTH REVOLUTION! The ever gallant soldier who against all odds stood his ground and damn the consequences even when there were lucrative offers that could have made him should the struggle be for his personal gains. Blessed be that day that he was born. 36 garlands for the Ikere-Ekiti true son. Also, what more can be said of Alhaji Sikiru Olowoyo the amiable running mate. Alhaji, as he is fondly called is a rare gem. A leader per excellence, he is a workaholic whose passion for a better society is great. He let go of his job to focus on this noble project. Much respect for this golden son of Ado-Ekiti.
Going by the prophecy of Aminu Kano that, "Nigeria will know no peace until the son of nobody becomes somebody without knowing anybody", there is a vibrant young man behind making the YOUTH REVOLUTION AGENDA popular, he is Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa (SHARPMINDS). He is responsible for noising the fame of Tosin Ajibare, a 'son of nobody' and the entire Revolution TEAM across the country and beyond. He is also responsible for the message of the Revolution both in write-ups and in songs. By God, through his efforts, Ekiti Youths are a force to reckon with in the African continent. Among other things, he established and created the offices of Youth Advocacy and Social Reformation, two fields that now have many practitioners. He is a typical example of "from nothing to something". Omuo-Ekiti sure has a blessed son in him.
Talk of the youngest Political Party Chairman in Nigeria, talk of Adeyemi Adeniyi Emmanuel. An articulate comrade who gives other party chairmen a run for their money anytime, any day. In short, he is a great man whose action speaks louder than words. You are celebrated golden son of Awo-Ekiti. The exceptional Lawal Taofeek (Yar'Adua) who chairs the Joint Council of Ekiti Youths, the umbrella body of all youth groups in Ekiti State. The Ado-Ekiti born is nothing but a great leader whose commitment is breathtaking. Bamidele Dada who hails from Iye-Ekiti is exemplary. He is loyal to the core! Meek and easygoing, all he dreams of is a better society, nothing less... Ekiti must sure engage these great young adults for productivity.
Bayode Kola Abiodun of Ado-Ekiti is synonymous to orderliness. Prudent to the core and detailed to a fault! There is no better person to take account of all our itineraries and contacts than him! Temitope Ayoola (Trives) of Ado-Ekiti is another wonder. He doesn't look it, but he is a comrade with a lion heart. John Ayokunle Funsho Falodun (JAFF) of Ado-Ekiti is practically a replica of Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa (SHARPMINDS). He is a Youth Advocate and Social Reformer. He is loyal to the call! A great politician in the making. Kudos comrade! How about Babalola Aanuoluwa (Bora the iron lady), the Ikere-Ekiti born is a commander of the female folks. A student leader, she stood against all odds. Awosemo Temitope (Tallest) of Ikole-Ekiti is a blessing to this generation. He led the students and still has his credibility and integrity, an unusual fit. You're celebrated! Adaeze Vera Valentine, the Anambra-Ekiti indigene who stood her ground and has her head raised. You're celebrated!
Ayeni Faith Damilola of Ido-Ekiti is an incredible young man who amazes his readers whenever he writes. Always objective, he engaged Tosin Ajibare on a fateful day and he from that day joined the cause. Dammy, as fondly called is a golden gem. Dada Sunday of Ikole is a soldier. Young and articulate, he has his name written in Gold. Oluwasolafunmi Gabriel of Orin-Ekiti is a pillar. A revolutionary who is unrepentant hater of evildoers in our land. You're celebrated!
What more can be said of these great pillars of Revolution; Ogunleye Taofeek of Ado-Ekiti, Oluwafemi Tosin Gabriel of Ado-Ekiti, Ogundipe Segun of Ikogosi-Ekiti (the exceptional young man who signed off for this Revolution with enviable commitment), Ogunleye Babatunde (Mosafumeto) of Ado-Ekiti, Taofeek Balogun of Ido-Ekiti, Babatunde Olayinka of Ado-Ekiti, Kazeem Olowoyo of Ado-Ekiti (The amiable Senatorial Leader who is a role model to the younger ones following after him), Akinwale Olamide (LMD) of Ise-Ekiti (a dogged fighter), Adeshile Ayodele of Ado-Ekiti, Pastor Adebayo Seun (Dr. Chef) of Ado-Ekiti (Apt, dynamic and energetic. Against the norm, he ensured that RIGHTEOUSNESS prevailed in our day to day endeavours), Pastor Adekola Adebayo of Ikere-Ekiti, Ayeni Gbenga of Oye-Ekiti, Dada Adeola of Usi-Ekiti who practically signed up for Revolution and dropped all other things in her life not minding the consequences and, Oladiran Taiwo (Baba Alapo Emo) of Ado-Ekiti. These glorious sons and daughters of Ekiti proved beyond doubt that, there is still hope for us as a people. They stood till the end against all odds!
We also use this medium to appreciate all our fathers and mothers who stood by and with us throughout. We celebrate you all.
Apologies to those whose names are not mentioned, you are all celebrated. It is our collective prayer that One of these days, Ekiti and Nigeria as a whole will be blessed to have you in the helms of her affairs respectively. You have fought a good fight and you have won! You are no losers, rather, you are conquerors because you satisfied your consciences and redefined how things should be done, even politically. And, you will be surely rewarded for your contributions to making our land a better place. And also for the record, even the 'established politicians' learnt a lot from us because we remodified election campaigns and Campaign materials...
And lastly, let it be known to the world that we are not done. On our quest to make our land a better place, we are unrepentant no matter what. We have no plans to go into exile, neither do we plan to drop the struggle. We will press further until we get to the promised land. For now however, enjoy yourselves and watch as things unfold. It is also expedient that you get involved now more than ever!
