Who knows what has this, more than a 100 years old, mansion witnessed?

I'm in love with old buildings! They have the personal notes, modern construction lack. They express warmth and speak of a different time. A time that I can understand with pink glasses on. I'm talking about the stories the walls speak, the unspoken ones. Since I'm an optimist I'm thinking about the happy times. Given the turbulent environment we are living in, some charming book doesn't hurt. Why not indulge into some cheesey romantic story, for the sake of a fantasy?
