I love making my own! It is so much better than just salt and pepper and not all those little bottles cluttering the table combine to make one.
We use it on so many things; it's our go-to seasoning.
It's quite amazing when you start looking at ingredient labels what is really in a can, jar or bottle. Scary actually how does the FDA get away with it?
ha! another brilliant idea from the goldendawne apothecary! I never even thought about this, store bought seasonings are also filled with chemicals?
Ohhhh sooo cool @goldendawne !
And the best to use! LOVE this stuff!
Last year was the first time I tried making my own season salt. It was so delicious, I don't know why I didn't think of it this year.
Thanks for the reminder... I'll know what to do tomorrow :0)
The only salt I've made is celery salt. But it is amazing! We use a lot of it, so I made 1/2 gallon jar of it. That should last us a year and some....

What a great post.. I will use this receipe .. I buy can't think of the name of it..lol brain blitz... anyway great post..
Seasoned salt is easy to make and tastes way better than store bought. I have been making it for years and often give away bottles to friends at Christmas as part of their homemade goody baskets.
My wife is amazing at this. But we had let it get used up recently. Thanks for the reminder that we need to get the spice grinder running again and make up our shaker mix!
Thx
