RE: Tribes Waiting for Communities?
Thanks @gadrian for recognizing our efforts with @reggaesteem. I've been reading up tirelessly about React, the javascript framework behind the 'clones'. Thing is with a good dev, the templates can really be customized totally given time and the patience to first digest the code, then innovate.
Dtube clones are another beast, the code is minimized (no breaks, no comments). Took me about 3 days to break it down and comment sections well enough to feel comfortable making the commits. Check out our tube, ReggaeTube.io; not sure if there's another clone customized to that point yet. But our target there is YoutTube traffic, Steem is a bonus.
Another thing I'de like to add is another perspective to the SCOTS and future SMTs: they are like ERC20 tokens, only a lot more powerful and easier to launch/distribute due to the social network behind the blockchain itself. So many mainstream projects launched as ERC20's. Steem is now way more powerful, believe it's only a matter of time before devs and more crypto projects jump on board. Some may not want anything to do with Steem other than launching their token.... Richard Hart launching his coin on ETH comes to mind, if he launched on STEEM the traction would be way better.

Thanks again bro cheers !BEER
Command accepted!
Thank you for your comment!
I will surely check out ReggaeTube.io as well.
I agree, if some ERC20 tokens would migrate to SMTs (or even as SCOTs if that's what they need), it would work much better for them and through the added attention and projects, to Steem too. I just hope those who are not dead are willing to make the switch, and the owners behind some of the failed ERC20 projects are willing to give it another go on Steem.
Congratulations for what you've done with ReggaeSteem so far and for your plans to improve the interfaces further, once you feel comfortable with their code!
