Tintenexplosion! / Inksplosion! - My entry for Trial by Comics "INK" [EN/DE]
The "Trial by Comics" contest has been running for a week now and the topic this time is "ink".
Deadline is the 25.02, so its still some time left ;)
The idea for my work was to draw a woman surrounded in ink smoke. The ink smoke should spring from her hair and play around her body. Hands of ink should grab her from above.
Since I rarely work with a fineliner, I'm also a bit of practice in dealing with it. That is also the reason why the result isnt as I imagined.

Der "Trial by Comics" Wettbewerb läuft schon seit einer Woche und das Thema dieses mal lautet "Tinte".
Teilnahmeschluss ist der 25.02, also etwas Zeit ist noch übrig ;)
Die Idee für diese Arbeit war es, eine in Tintenrauch liegende Frau zu zeichnen. Der Tintenrauch sollte dabei ihren Haaren entspringen und ihren Körper umspielen. Hände aus Tinte sollten von oben nach ihr greifen.
Da ich sonst eher selten mit einem Fineliner arbeite, bin ich auch etwas aus der Übung was den Umgang damit angeht. Das ist auch der Grund warum das Ergebnis dann doch anders geworden ist, als ich mir das vorgestellt habe.
Verdammt tolle Zeichnung.
Besonders gut gefallen mir die Farbpalette und die Mimik. Sie scheint mir undifferenziert zu sein. Ich kann nicht sagen ob ihr der Tintenrauch gefällt oder ob sie aus einem Traum aufwacht und ihn als Gefahr ansieht.
