Dried fruits like apricots, raisins, prunes and figs contain high amounts of beta carotene, vitamin E, niacin, iron, magnesium, potassium and calcium. I've been getting more into Dried Fruits lately. With so many to chose from at the market, I think I am going to start trying a new dried fruit each week.

Anyone look at the chart here? Extremely useful information good for anyone out there.

I've been studying and trying new things. It's not only healthy to eat this way but healthy in general to try new things.

A+ Chart right here.

I stay eating mixed nuts and fruits. Healthy as it gets.

Had this oatmeal cookie the other day, it cost a couple dollars but was homemade and packed with a bunch of fruits, nuts, and oatmeal. It was great.

Need to buy some more dry fruits soon.

Ah, dried fruits, my go-to snack! They're a lifesaver during those mid-day hunger pangs, aren't they? I've been experimenting with all sorts, but let me tell you about this unexpected discovery - freeze-dried watermelon. Sounds unusual, right? I found it while trying to jazz up my weight management diet. Honestly, it was a game-changer. The site Freeze dried watermelon has some cool insights on how it fits into a healthy diet. But here's the kicker, the first time I tried it was on a hike with my dog, Max. We were both beat, and I shared a piece with him. His delighted face was a picture! It's super light, yet packed with flavor, and now it's our favorite trail snack. So, if you're looking to switch things up, give it a whirl. You might just make your hikes a bit more memorable!
