Good Morning STEEMPEAK
I'm not going to beat a dead horse and complain more about a certain front end that starts with P and ends with disappointment
I woke up and saw zero notifications on the former dapp of choice. I'm either a loser for checking my steem first thing(but then that probably makes you a loser too and I know you're very cool) or perhaps I'm not worthy of engaging with?🤔 or is it option 3 the butterfingers dropped the steem ball mobile dapp?
On to my first impressions of @steempeak
My initial reaction is it's clear some devoted and actively engaged steemians have created this front end that is packed with useful tools and features only an avid or obsessed user would truly appreciate.
If I wanted to make a bullet point appeal I can easily do so here. 👇
- shows my steem engine tokens
- has options to use whatever pic I want to lure you in
- I can also whip up a tasty description
- permilink!
- don't need to know HTML
- freaking graphs of my account!
is it possible to make this glorious stuff more mobile friendly? I'm not complaining though it's been a smooth ride..
It's also cool that I can easily share this to my other social media accounts where my content tends to go virus I'm kind of a big deal.

All the rest of my fellow steemians fear not I've found a BOLD new way to get my steem on. I've been nerding out so hard I've placed in the top of the engagement league the past two weeks and was afraid my failed notifications on that sinking ship dapp were ruining my chances to place this week. But, now I've got a plate full of activities.

Since it's my first time here it's only fitting to post my kitty pic. I call it Cosmic Primitive Cat and I got help from my AI friend to co-create it? It was inspired by an actual lsd trip where I saw primates in EVERYTHING for the entire trip. Why is AI so psychedelic?

I love the kitty,I do not know what steempeak is although I spend 12 hours a day with slow connection on my smartphone on steem. So I must bethe biggest loser of all and wish I could save time and energy.

The way I see it, it's just a number. As long as you have enough RCs to do your thing, the only real reason to have a large stake is for some meager curation or self voting and that requires well over 5k SP to even play that game at all.
I've found a handful of people I'd definitely hang out with IRL and actually met a steemian that lives a few km away from me. I'd love to have a nice steem cushion for emergencies as my finances living away from the states for two years are dwindling but I'm a long way from that reality.
If steem was worth 5 bucks USD I'd be ecstatic but still hodl... Still kicking myself as I was aware of BTC in 2010 but thought it was crazy and only useful if buying drugs or murder for hire haha..
Truthfully without one very well off steemian I'd be still very far from minnowhood. As kind as many of the other people here are it takes a very big fish to grow. I can't fathom how some accounts have thousands of followers. I have 210 or so after 8 months and I'd guess only 50 actually steem..

The followers mean.nothing. Most of them you are not in contact with.
Do you frequently read all those you follow?
There are with contest who tell you you need to follow them, it is one of the reasons.. whales will be followed easier as plankton too.
Perhaps they can be bought?
I do not care.
Hope steem will rise more 7.77 would be nice.
Now I think about it... somehow this is more like a game as social media 🤔.

That cat is blowing my mind man. Too many eyes looking at me.
I am enjoying the simple mobility and partiko points of that app. Been diving into palnet.io for posting at the computer, and like tasteem when I get a chance to visit a restaurant.
So many apps but is steempeak another mobile app? I should look into it but like asking people I know.

I don't think it is hailed as a Mobile App but it's not as clunky and annoying as steemit and it's clones are.
Partiko was great when it was functioning properly and had a devoted inspired team with vision.
Personally, I get bothered by glitching out apps that don't have a human being I can harass. It's inexcusable IMHO and while I'm replying using partiko I only was aware of your comment via steempeak. Being that I have a disdain for not having my correspondence reciprocated and value engaging here as my top priority I can't partake in partiko and their terrible UX. I can't be like them and be OK with ignoring people that take the time to reply or comment my stuffs..
As far as their points and delegations out the wazoo go I'm less than confident a team that seems to barely be afloat can afford to payout a mass cash in. And why no token on steem engine, hell I could make a skrammer before lunch today and I'm a fool.

I haven’t had the glitches on my iPhone and I am also one to make sure I reward engagement and interaction.
On a side note, I wonder why people waste voting power on a .01$ upvote that is going to turn into dust. Have you been seeing more of that lately?

Ive always seen that, I think it’s a lack of awareness. People just don’t know about the 2.5 cent cap. I make sure to go upvote the commenters recent posts instead of throwing dust in the bin ..

Yes exactly that, but seems OK for the time being.. More frustrating is the lack of communication. I'm not techy enough to know exactly what's causing the buggy issues but not having anyone on the chain or discord to handle very valid complaints is unlike the partiko we used to know and love.
All in all mobile users aren't exactly made to feel welcome here. Many months ago I tried to onboard friends and family here in Malaysia but steemit wouldn't load to allow the waiting period to even start. When as a newb I voiced this concern I got a bunch of first worlders on PCs telling me it works fine for me.
, I assured them I know a dozen people here and in India that gave up and will never try again..
