India succeed to get STA-1 Status from America , Now what ?
US President Donald Trump has given India the status of STA-1 trading status equal to its allies. This is a contractual slogan for China which has been stuck repeatedly in the path of India's entry into the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
On Monday, the US gave India a strategic trade authorization-1 (Strategic Trade Authorization - i.e. STA-1) status and granted concession in the export control for the sale of high-tech products and military equipment.
India is the only South Asian country which has been included in this list whereas only Japan and South Korea enjoy this status all over Asia.
