As of June, Google will Disallow Bitcoin Ads and Other Virtual Currencies

Google will ban ads promoting crypto currency and initial coin (ICO) publishing ads starting in June this year.

This policy is an attempt to dampen the spread of the latest financial products that have a very high risk.

This effort was announced by Google's parent, Alphabet Inc. on Wednesday local time. Previously, Facebook Inc. did the same thing in January 2018 ago. As such, Facebook and Google are far removed from digital currency related ads.

Google also limits advertising of financial products with binary options, which are derivatives or derivatives in addition to prohibiting advertisements with the keyword "buy bitcoin".

This is done by Google after the entry of a number of apiran that mention these ads in the category of malicious ads, because it contains fraud and controversial.

As quoted from Bloomberg, Google in 2017 has removed more than 3.2 billion controversial and malicious ads on the web, while in 2016 Google removed as many as 1.7 billion ads.

The removal of 3.2 million billion ads in 2017 and the prohibition of bitcoin ads will likely not impact Google's business and advertising revenue. By 2017, Google's advertising revenue is reportedly up 20 percent compared to 2016.
