Importance of mixing education with entrepreneurship
I know many of you will wonder why it is important to mix school with entrepreneurship.
Before I continue I’ll give a definition of both terms.
Education: an act of learning or acquiring knowledge.
Entrepreneurship: is being able to develop and manage your business.
Some people think education is everything, please don’t quote me wrong, education is a beautiful thing.
If we take a major look at the educational sector, it really isn’t all. Speaking as a Nigerian, getting jobs today without having anybody at the top for you is what I call ‘’GRACE’’. These days entrepreneurship is being introduced in schools but students are reluctant about it. Some even go as far as saying “what will me as a doctor be doing with entrepreneurship”, but it has come to my knowledge that not everything work out as planned. You studying all kinds of courses in school doesn’t guarantee food on the table.
Entrepreneurship is a great thing, acquiring skills outside your field is awesome. Take for instance if you know how to design very well you can go as far as having your own fashion line. It doesn’t only include fashion cause you can indulge in baking, soap making etc.
Don’t just go to school and depend on just your discipline, create and habit of wanting to learn new things.
This message is to urge people young an old to embrace entrepreneurship with passion…

Teaching is one of the most noble professions around but even teachers and educators need to be rewarded in monetary terms in order to keep pursuing the work they love the most. Working in education also requires an entrepreneurial spirit to keep moving forward.

I absolutely relate to this information, because I embraced entrepreneurship before gaining admission into the university, being a student and a hairstylist and I also train with it, and this has giving me more opportunity on what to do after graduation, it gives you an edge among your peers who are still trying to figure out what business to venture into. Entrepreneurship is the key to this modern time
From our part of the world, being a graduate is never a guarantee you will get a decent job. Getting a job doesn't even guarantee success. Entrepreneurship is key. Thanks for putting this up

You are right being an entrepreneur is more about managing self in a not so certain environment than it is to do with managing your occupation .
