Annapurna Base Camp
"Touch , Feel, Kiss the seven thousanders"

Annapurna Base Camp trek is the unique chance to be as close to with as many seven thousanders (7000m+) altitude mountains of the world. The Base camp (4130m) lies at the north-eastern base of Annapurna South (7219m) and Himchuli (6441m). From the camp, Annapurna I (8091m) lies in the north west, and Annapurna III (7555m) and Gangapurna(7455m) lie at the northeast. And in the East lies the infamous Machhapuchhre peak (6993m), spectacularly seen from Pokhara.

The trek starts with a short drive and then walking through 3300 knee cracking steps upward to the extravagant Poonhill, where 180 degree himalayan range in front of you brings a delight to the feeling of living in this world. Through the rhododendron forest highly rich in flora and fauna we pass along different camps along the glacier riverside to reach the base camp.

Watching the milky way galaxy above you, right in and with the mountains, mountains are right beside you, not one but many of the legendary names that mark the records. The 360 degree mountain view with most seven thousanders around you is just breathtaking and is as close to heaven as you can ever get.

The historical mentions of different mountains can be found in the vedic text. The Vedas often mention Annapurna as the mother of the Universe. Mythological stories tell Machhapuchhre is the child of mother Annapurna and Machhapuchhre was derived from Nepali word "Mata putra" translating in english it means, son of mother. The satellite images of google reveal the Annapurna Himalayan range surrounding the Machhapuchhre mountain, graphical symbolism of mother holding her baby in her wife. Machhapuchhre is the one of the most mountains both according to the cultural history of Nepal as well as the fact that no human feet has ever touched the summit. Every expeditions ever attempted have resulted in dramatic tragedy.

But reaching the Annapurna Base Camp is as safe as it can be. Every year hundreds of tourist make it to the base camp and come back without a hassle provided you hire experienced, professional and friendly trekking company like us. Jokes apart, but it is true that significant tourists fall into trouble into different things along their trek because of improper planning and careless management of different companies.

We are on a mission to serve you our warmest hospitality helping tourism develop the country. For us, your satisfaction always comes first .
