Weeping Lavender Twist Redbud Tree- Spring to Summer
This is another one of my favorite trees because of the shape and its twisted branches.
The first five photos were taken in the spring when the small purplish-pink flowers were in bloom.
These flowers last for approximately 3-4 weeks and attract hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
The leaves grow when the flowers begin to die.
This is what the tree looks like today. Look at those big, heart-shaped leaves.

What a wonderful tree, long lasting
flowers, cool shape and awesome leaves.
Reminds me of a birds nest or basket the
way it looks without leaves.
