The distinctive Pandanas plant is a species from the Pandanaceae family and is native to Polynesia, Australia, South Asia and the Philippines but is also found in India and Burma. Their botanical name is, Pandanas Odorifer but is commonly called Screw-Pine.
They are characterized by their small branches, and palm-like leaves which grow in clusters at the tips of the branches. Fragrant flowers bloom in summer and are used as perfumes which is similar to the fragrance of roses.
They are harvested early in the morning as their fragrance dissipates once opened. Pandanas plants thrive in rainforests but also along the coast as they are very hardy and some species are valued because their fruit is edible and the leaves can be used for platting.

Neat little tree. I only know the coconut type palm trees that are tall. Pretty view of the ocean too. It's been ages since I went to the beach.
Thanks @marxrab I used to have photos of the fruit from these palm trees but cannot find them at the moment. It is a picturesque place near the sea where I live and am always thankful for sea views and having beaches so close to home. Many thanks for you kind support and great comments. 🌺
