Cashmir Cypress Tree.

Cashmir Cypress Tree.

I've always loved conifer trees but the Cashmir Cyrpess (Cupressocyparis Cashmeriama) has to be of my favourites.

(I am submitting these three images for this weeks Tree Tuesday challenge initiated by @old-guy-photos)

These beautiful trees are characterized by their graceful, weeping foliage. Their pendulous, blue/grey/green leaves drape towards the ground like soft waterfalls. And I simply had to include a couple of close up images of them so that you can admire them too.

These evergreen trees are fast growers and are capable of reaching 5 meters in the first ten years. Their pyramid shape makes them very distinctive and they provide a very appealing feature in any garden.

In the wild, Cashmir Cypress Trees grow at moderately high altitudes to 1.250 - 2,800 meters tall.

THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.

Lovely photos. They are attractive trees with the weeping foliage, Trudee

Thanks very much @redheadpei I think they really lovely trees too but unfortunately I don't see a lot of them in Queensland. I think they like the New South Wales climate better which isn't as humid.

I love that one! It is like a willow crossed with pine!

Thank you Paul. That's a good description of the Cashmir Cypress.
